A Lennox air conditioner absorbs heat from inside your home and moves it through refrigeration lines to the outdoor unit. There, a fan passes air over the coils to cool the refrigerant before it returns inside and continues the cycle. An air to air heat pump can also reverse this process, drawing heat from the outside air during colder months and bringing it into your home.
